Finally, after countless chocolates, a gazillion tagged pictures of long stem roses, and the utter bitterness of over half the population..Valentine’s day is over!

As I said before, I wasn’t going to dwell on the fact that I’m single on this glorious holiday but I finally became slightly ticked off when I was called in to work. Yes, I had nothing better to do. Yes, I had no prior plans. Isn’t it already obvious that i’m here late under short notice? 

“I was hoping you didn’t have a boyfriend..” -my manager in midst of calling me to see if I was available to come in.

“Oh, I hope you didn’t have anything planned tonight!” -server

Obviously not if i’m here. If I actually did, this would be the last place I’d spend my V-day.

After all the questions and comments and the fact that it was made known that i’m single and alone to all my coworkers..the madness is finally over. Thank you.
