Lost in education
  • Me: How was that presentation? What was it about?
  • Grad student: It was really good, she talked about how cytokines..( insert big words...scientific terms...immunity..yada yada yada blah blah....)
  • I knew what she was talking about but not the actual concept so she lost me within the first two seconds of the explanation. I just nodded my head and looked like I understood what the hell she was talking about.
  • I felt like I needed an English translator for a second..
